The Frigid Zone

There are two frigid zones in the world. There is one to the north of the Arctic Circle. It is known as the Arctic. There is another one to the south of the Antarctic Circle. It is known as the Antarctic. The frigid zones are the coldest zones on earth.

The frigid zones are generally covered in ice and snow throughout the year. These areas are very cold even during the summer. In the frigid zone, people need thick clothing to stay warm.

Very few people live in the frigid zones. Most people prefer to live in warmer climates. Also, very few animals are able to live in the frigid zone. The animals that live here are adapted to survive the cold climate.

Antarctica is so cold that it is frozen all year round. Emperor penguins are among the few animals that can survive there.
