What is weather?

Weather is the condition of the atmosphere in a place at a particular time. Take a look outside right now. Is it sunny? Is it cloudy? Is it raining? Is it windy? Is it hot or cold? The answers to these questions will tell us what the weather is like in right now in the place you are.

The weather can change very quickly. It may be cold in the morning and hot in the afternoon. It can be sunny at 9 o’ clock and rainy at 9:05. Look at the pictures below. What can you say about the weather in each picture?
