The rose is one of two national flowers. There is a flower festival called the La Rose Festival which is dedicated to it. This festival is celebrated on August 30th every year.
The marguerite is the other national flower. There is a flower festival called the La Marguerite Festival which is dedicated to it. This festival is celebrated on October 17th every year.
